let me see...i needed to clarify the shssshhing story from wheresjuantoday, my ever-amusing spouse. first i should say that he got me a lovely pair of garnet teardrop earrings for valentine's day. they match the necklace we had made from a garnet i found during our vacation to the NC mountains last august. *g* the silly man tipped his hand yesterday evening by not so slickly prowling around my desk where i keep my jewelry to make sure he hadn't already gotten me a similar pair of earrings. when i caught him in the act, he held up the teddybear puppy's grooming brush and asked what it was doing on my desk. *snort*

this is all to let you know that while i will never let him totally off the hook for the shushing incident, i did _mostly_ forgive him. you know, i could swear i've told this story somewhere around here before. probably in chat. but i think it bears archiving. *nods*
