a day in the life of the office newbie

so it was another exciting day at the cobbler's today. i spent the morning reading the rest of the home owner's manual, practicing listing all the model homes and their locations, and listening to stories of young married life. when it was finally noon and time for me to make an all too brief escape to my car for a sanity break, it felt more like it was fifty o'clock. no, I do not mean five.

Got the lowdown on the kids' second day of school during and after dinner tonight. Filled out a couple more papers for teachers, too. And wrote a couple more checks for school stuff. They nickle and dime you to death this time of year. Tomorrow I get to go buy MORE supplies.

I managed to cram in a workout before dinner (for the third night in a row) and talked to my sister while on the treadmill. Now it's off to shower (yes, i ate dinner in my sweaty workout clothes) and get back to that quilt. it's a full day.
